Money is the root of all evil.  Not in general (I wouldn’t make a really good PF blog if I assumed what I did was evil now would I), but definitely when combined with family (either immediate or extended) and friends, money can lead to huge headaches.

Have you ever had someone owe you money?  Has your repayment timeframe not matched up with their own? Have you watched them spend money frivolously on various trips while slowly paying you back?  Have you keyed their car in the middle of the night to release some steam?  All these are reasonable responses to the frustration money can cause when you mash your savings practices with your friends and family.

The only option is to slowly distance yourself from everyone you know.  What you need to do is change your phone number, move into a small cabin on a large mountain.  And catch your own food from now on.  Now to many, we would call this retirement.  And obviously i’m joking to make a point.  Relationships are a fact of life.  So there must be someway to combine the two.
