How Americans spend their day

How Americans spend their day

I like statistics. If I want to make it big and then hear “there is a high correlation between being a millionaire and owning your own business” then I’m going to look into starting a business (I guess my previous plan of winning the lotto will have to be put on hold for now).

Being in business for yourself is both a stressful and fulfilling experience.  So go, quit your job right now and start! Ok don’t do that (I hope people didn’t just go quit their job).  There is a way to keep your day job, while working towards your dream job.  On average, people work 40 hrs a week.  But the week has 168 hours in it!!! That means we only work for roughly 25% of our week.

How much TV do you watch per week?  If you ONLY cut your television watching in half you’d probably have more than enough time to start a small business.  So lets do that. I’ll do it with you.  Why you ask?  For the security, and the master plan. Don’t think I forgot about the big picture here.

Be it a lemonade stand, a web design business, or a milkshake food truck (please be the milkshake food truck, come on milkshakes), I’ll walk you through the basics, some common mistakes, some marketing tips, what you can do to make your life easier, how you should grow, how the company should grow (I could go on and on) and more!

Best part is, we’ll learn together. I am by no means a business guru and I don’t mean to give you the impression that I am.. But I’m learning as I build. And hopefully we can learn through each others mistakes and in doing so help avoid making some costly mistakes ourselves.
